Marybeth Byrd is a 23-year-old singer-songwriter from Armorel, Arkansas, with roots in Country, Christian, and Pop music. She gained national attention after reaching the top 8 on The Voice in 2019 and the top 10 on American Idol in 2023, where her original song "People Pleaser" earned a standing ovation from the judges. Katy Perry hailed "excellent songwriting." Byrd has recorded nearly 15 songs with the production and writing team JST FRNDS (Callie Dixon & Gabe Neal) for her upcoming EP "funny how it always seems to rain...", set to release by the end of 2024. The lead single "October Woods" is co-written with chart-topping songwriter, Lance Carpenter, and mixed by Grammy Award-winning engineer, Jacob Morris. The sister EP, "...everything changes" is set to release in 2025. The project also includes writers Linda Davis, Jeff Cohen, Callista Clark, Kenneth Hart and more. This past year has clearly shaped her for what's to come.
